The team at Actrua wish to congratulate the QGC Upstream Operations team on being announced as winners of the BG Group Global Safety Awards, last night in London. The awards recognise the transformative safety initiatives that have been implemented by BG teams around the world. They are strongly contested with a large number of entries submitted from across the world. The final came down to four shortlisted nominations of the highest quality.
Their win for the implementation of the Switch On Safety Leadership Program, highlights the commitment that Richard Schokman and his team have for creating a culture where being safe is a mindset that is heartfelt and values driven. Actrua are proud to have partnered with the QGC Upstream team since 2009 to deliver the Switch On Safety Leadership program. A transformative, belief driven safety program that personalises and repositions safety in the context of what matters most for each individual. Currently 2,500 QGC employees and contractors have attended Switch On workshops, which has created a sustainable safety performance culture within the business.
